How to Find the Correct Hose Replacement for Your Central Vacuum

How do I find the right replacement hose that will work with my central vacuum system?

If you are in search of a new central vacuum hose set but can’t find they brand or model you have, I have good news for you.  If your system is 20 years old or less, it is likely a universal fit. All of the newer central vacuum systems use outlets with holes measure 2.5 inches in diameter. Just lift up the flap and measure the hole diameter. If your measurement is 2.5 inches, universal replacement hoses will fit!

Don’t worry about your connection type!  Your hose set will have either a direct connect or pigtail type.  A pigtail type hose has a 8 ft electric cord at the end.  The direct connect has 2 little prongs. All of our systems come with both types so you can easily choose the one that fits your system.
